About the Animal Kingdom Foundation of Compassion, Care, and Concern
The Animal Kingdom Foundation of Compassion, Care, and Concern (AKFCCC) is a 501c3, nonprofit organization founded to elevate the levels of compassion and education in the world of veterinary medicine.
AKFCCC’s “Peace of Mind” Foster and Adoption Service, provides early medical assessment and intervention and even occasional assistance with food for pets of the terminally ill in portions of Falls Church, Arlington and Alexandria counties.
AKFCCC’s “International Educational Exchange Program,” seeks to continually challenge and improve the level of education around the world, in the areas of:
- nutrition,
- food production,
- public safety, and
- animal care
by offering unique “in the field” and “hands-on” experience with local veterinary practices as well as the latest innovative and theoretical information taught in a classroom and laboratory settings.
AKFCCC’s Floating University and America’s First Animal-Care Ambassador Ship is currently in the planning and development phase. Once funded and launched, this program will deliver state of the art veterinary medical education and assistance to each foreign port it visits.
If you or your fellow physicians would like more information on these programs, and how you and possibly your practice might participate, please contact us at info@akfccc.org or by calling 703-742-8039.
We’d be delighted to talk with you.
